Desalination system with bore water feed - incorporating iron removal system. This system is producing 35,000 litres of usable fresh water every day. Feed water source is from a bore, drawing from the water table adjacent to the Brisbane River. Natural ground filtration removes much of the salinity from the feed water and the result is a good quality feed water source, containing moderate levels of Iron. Our Iron removal system is employed within the system, allowing iron-free water, to enter the system, as the feed source. Iron removal is critical in this application.
