Occupational Health and Safety Policy
The Management of Global Water Solutions, has a very strong commitment to the provision of a healthy work environment, safe working practices and responsible environmental preservation. We recognise environmental preservation, as the most important aspect of our operation. All staff and sub-contractors are trained in these safe working methods and environmental preservation. Contractors are also encouraged to be pro-active and submit suggestions to better manage our methods to further improve our operation. This policy is a statement of commitment.
Environmental Objectives
 Comply with and exceed the level of environmental performance required by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) A copy of this policy is available from the official EPA website.
Establish and maintain environmentally responsible waste management and waste disposal practices.
Eliminate harm to flora and fauna, identify sensitive area’s or heritage sites and instigate appropriate protective measures, and on completion, restore work sites to original condition.
Store all materials in a manner that reduces the risk of potential release to the atmosphere, soil or water sources
Establish procedures for the safe containment of hazardous materials and for appropriate action in the event of spillage or accidental contamination.
Reduce the potential for environmental harm in emergency situations, by responding effectively and efficiently to emergencies using trained personnel and sub-contracting staff, as well as establishing emergency procedures.
Ongoing reviews of work practices and equipment to minimise energy use and reducing unnecessary waste.
Ensure staff and sub-contractors comply with all relevant requirements of our Environmental policy.
